Maui home and condo sales slow slightly

Median prices for real estate in Maui County slipped slightly last month, with median prices for single family homes on Maui dipping slightly to $624,391, down from $635,000 a year prior. Sales of Maui homes also declined with 76 sales last month compared to 104 sales in February 2008. As for condos on Maui, they also took a slight downturn in median price, from $596,000 in February 2007 to $575,000 in February 2008, but increased in units sold from 84 Maui condos sold in February 2007, to 94 condos sold in February of this year. Looking at the numbers, it's obvious to see that right now is a great time to take advantage of some great prices and buy that nice single family Upcountry Maui home or oceanfront Wailea condo you've always wanted!
