Maui - Kahului airport ranks low in time consumption for flyers

Many of us fly to and from our Maui home on a regular basis, be it for business or pleasure; and many of us know the airport experience can at times be quite draining. Flight delays, grumpy people, long lines; just some of the issues flyers typically deal with at their local airport(s). While these annoyances are many times unavoidable, according to a recent Forbes survey, when we visit the Kahului airport many of them are quite minimal! Compiling statistics from 100 airports nationwide, Forbes then analyzed these stats and ranked the participating airports performance based on six common reasons for delays; late flights, flight cancellation, weather problems, carrier issues, security, and traffic issues. Out of the 100 airports surveyed, Kahului ranked 5th in LEAST time consuming airports nationwide! And the biggest time consumer on the list? O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. Yet another reason it's great to own (and comeback to) a home on Maui!
