Halloween in Paia

In light of the recent scaling back of Lahaina activities, the Paia Merchant Association is inviting visitors and residents alike to celebrate Halloween in Paia town this year. If there was any place on Maui that was made for Halloween celebrations, Paia would be it. This is where individuals from every demographic cross paths. You will see the young and old, residents and visitors, hippies and locals, surfers, musicians, and artists. You name it you'll find it in Paia.

The festivities have been carefully planned for a safe, family oriented experience with trick or treating from 4-7PM throughout town. All the stores will be open. Flatbread and Charlie's restaurants will host costume contests later in the evening and Moana Cafe will offer an Open Mind, Open Mic event.

This Halloween event is part of a massive push on the part of the Paia Merchant Association to add vitality to Paia Town during challenging economic times. Meanwhile many Maui residents will be thrilled that they can avoid the long drive to and from Lahaina on Halloween night.
