Third Annual Barryfest on Maui

Barryfest, Maui's music extravaganza, will be held at Keopuolani Park Ampitheater on Sunday, March 1st from 11AM to sunset. This is the third annual smash event that has been wildly popular in its first two years.
Many local performers are in the entertainment lineup. Some of the bands playing include the Willie K. Band, Vince Esquire Band, the Haiku Hiillbillys, and many more. Rick Vito of Fleetwood Mac will be making a special appearance, as will the Bonnie Raitt Band. The emcees will be Tita and Marty Dread.
Mana'o Radio will be hosting Barryfest. They celebrate this event in the memory of the radio station's co-founder Barry Shannon. People of all ages can enjoy these performances, whether Kama'aina or visitors. This is a great opportunity to experience Maui's local culture and music. The concert is a benefit for this listener supported station, and is also being held on the station's 7th birthday.
Aside from the live, non-stop entertainment, there will of course be excellent food, Mana'o logo wear, and music for sale. Other features include free parking, kapuna area, keiki play area, kava bar, and smart bar. Tickets at the gate will be $25 for adults and $15 for keiki (under 6 get in for free). You can save $5 on tickets if you purchase them online at Bounty Music. Check out barryfest.org for more information.
The ecclectic and diverse crowd that performs, volunteers, and attends this event are wonderfully representative of that authentic Maui North Shore feel that we so enjoy. If you are considering a relocation to one of Maui's North Shore homes, you might also like some of the homes in Makawao and homes in Haiku as well.
