Free Kama'aina Cruise with Pacific Whale Foundation

A rare opportunity for a free Ocean Discovery cruise with the Pacific Whale Foundation has just opened up to Maui residents. The Foundation is offering this fun outing for free in celebration of World Ocean Day.
The cornerstones of the Pacific Whale Foundation include marine research, education and conservation. Through their cruises and many other educational activities for the public, the Foundation hopes to continue protection of whales, dolphins, coral reefs and all the planet's oceans. Through scientific exploration and education, the public learns about the marine environment and its significance in our own lives.
Pacific Whale Foundation research involves study of humpbacks all over the world as well as the wild dolphins and cofal reefs of Maui County. A big part of their conservation efforts include a consistent battle against whaling, whether commercial or as part of so called "scientific whaling".
If you want to attend, there will be departures from both Maalaea and Lahaina harbors on Saturday, June 6th. This is an hour long cruise where you can enjoy the cool ocean breeze and knowledgeable staff as you learn about Maui's marine ecology. If you are a resident or Pacific Whale Foundation member, bring your Hawaii i.d. If you are a member, your kids go free as well. It is recommended that you make reservations as soon as you can. To do so, call the Pacific Whale Foundation at 249-8811 ext. 1.
On the real estate front, you may want to have a look at Spreckelsville homes and perhaps some of the many beautiful parcels of vacant land in Haiku. As always, if you need any real estate assistance, please email us at info@jimsandersrealty.com or call (808) 579-8255. Mahalo for reading and have a great weekend!
