Customer Service Training for your Maui Business

Pocketbooks are pinched and budgets cinched, so how do you make the most of what you have? If your business deals with customers on any level, now would be a good time to make sure you or your employees are giving them the appropriate treatment.

On a little island like Maui with such a close-knit community, word-of-mouth is extremely important. Most residents have had experiences with most businesses on the island at one point or another, depending on how long they've lived here. You need to think about both customers that have been served by your business as well as those that haven't yet. For those who have experience with you, it is extremely important to develop a good rapport so that they will come back as well as recommend others to use your services.

A free workshop is coming up on the 16th of September called "Make Every Customer Count!" It will be held from 8-9a.m. at the Maui County Business Resource Center in the Maui Mall.

Whether you own a business and you would like to learn more about customer service or you work for a company which requires good customer service skills from you, this is a good opportunity to take in a good amount of information in a short period. When it's free, all it costs is a little time. Anna Ribucan will be presenting this workshop and she has been working for Maui businesses for over 30 years. She also headed up Maui Community College's Center for Entrepreneurship for 2 years and was named SBA's Women in Business Champion. She currently manages the Maui County Business Resource Center at the Maui Mall where the workshop will be held and should be an excellent source of information on customer service.
