The 87th Annual Maui County Fair Approaches

This year's Maui County Fair will be opening on October 1st drawing crowds of guests to enjoy the rides, games, music, contests, dance and more. For many fair connoisseurs, the food will be the highlight of the weekend's fun.

Don't forget that the fair opens with the Traditional Parade on October 1st. Among the exhibits will be everything from Better Living, Homemakers, and School Art to Orchid, Banzai and Livestock.

One of the interesting featured events is the 2nd annual RoboTech Maui Expo which will boast the impressive robotic creations of Maui students. Also, don't forget about this year's Chili Cook-off.

Admission for adults is $5, kids from 5-11 are $2 and children ages 4 and under get in free. On Sunday, the first 2,000 visitors get in for free. You can read up on the fair and find any information that you might need at www.mauicountyfair.com.
