Maui Metal Recycling for Non Profits

SOS Metals Island Recycling is admirably hosting a metal recycling fundraiser for local non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity and the Community Work Day program. The fundraiser will take place from the 16th to the 20th of this month.
Abandoned cars and appliances mar the pristine beauty of Maui and no one wants to look at them. This is an opportunity to put them to use. You can bring all the metal items that you have accumulated or that have been abandoned, including scrap metal, appliances, vehicles and non-ferrous metal items such as copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum and lead. Even vehicle batteries will be accepted if you can spare $5 so they can be processed.
If you don't have anything to drop off, you can always make a financial donation. If you participate in the event, you will receive information on the services that are provided by Habitat for Humanity and the Community Work Day program. It's always nice to get familiar with both the non-profit organizations that service the Maui community, no matter how big or small they may be.
The event is being hosted at SOS Metals Island Recycling between the hours of 8a.m. and 4p.m. from the 16th to the 20th. If you need any more information, call Karen Motooka at 808-986-8050.
